Friends if you have a YouTube channel then it might have happened that YouTube age-restricted your video even without any cause of it, even when your video is suitable for every YouTube user. Today we will discuss 100% working tricks to solve it.

How do you know that your YouTube video is age-restricted? 

As your YouTube video is age restricted you are notified via email describing the detail of age restriction.

My video also was age-restricted when it had very useful content and wasn't harmful or inappropriate for any of the YouTube users. Then I solved this problem. Again this happened but again I solved it. 

How to solve your age-restricted video on YouTube?

If your video is age-restricted then follow the instructions below:

1. Go to YouTube Studio.

2. Now go to the videos section.

On the right side of your age-restricted video, you will notice the age-restriction text. Just click on the age restriction text and you will find the appeal option.

3. Click on appeal and you will be asked to write why you want the age restriction to be removed from your video.

4. Now copy the text given below and just paste it into the text area where you are asked to describe why you want to remove the age restriction from your video.

Respected YouTube Team, My YouTube Channels' recent content is age restricted. It is only visible to 18+ users even while the video content is suitable for children. Before submitting this appeal to the YouTube Team, I was asked to read the Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy to know the reason to age restrict the video. Then I did as commanded but I didn't realize any mistake or the content that harms the YouTube policy, user or inappropriate content in my video instead I found the video helpful for even from the kids to adults. So, I request The YouTube Team to appreciate this appeal and again review the video content. If still there are harmful content I request that I may be notified to my email. I hope that The YouTube Team will understand and appreciate my appeal.

Response from YouTube

After you submit an appeal using the text that I have had above for you. YouTube will review your video and YouTube will realize that there are no harassing or inappropriate content in your video. As a result, YouTube will remove the age restriction from your video.

Note: You shouldn't upload any inappropriate content in your video and it should be appropriate for the kids also.
